Values Of Living

The most simple values for living are the ones that make the most sense. Just like that sweet poem that outlined how we were prepared for life as soon as we went to kindergarten, we are all able to share simplistic values that make us more human. We need to be nicer to each other. We need to stop blaming each other for simple indiscretions. We should pass on values of love behind the wheel rather than teach our children how to swear every time someone cuts us off. We should love like we mean it and we should offer shelter to those who have none. We can all grow when we offer our simple values with another by sparing a dollar for someone who needs it and an ear to our friends. We can even start lending an ear to those who are not so much our friends. We can teach our children values like letting an older person go first and holding the door for those behind us. There is value in being kind. There is value in sharing. There are certainly values in simply offering a smile to someone you don’t know and don’t understand. We are all here on the planet to do something good while we are here. All the basic values we share right now are so simple, so strong, and so easy if we remember the basic values we want to teach the average four year old. Share your toys, love your friend, and listen to those around you. Be nice.
